Our country has won praise from the Japanese Prime Minister today, after rolling out the reddest of carpets.
With Sanae Takaichi arriving down under to discuss stuff like critical minerals and the price of fuel, the visiting dignitary has been treated to some of Australia's finest hospitality.
And that has gone down a treat, with Takaichi 'absolutely blown away' by the marvel of Australia's rail system.
"Wow," said Takaichi in an exclusive interview with The Advocate.
"287 kilometres in only 4 hours and 9 minutes," said the woman dubbed Japan's 'Iron Lady'.
"Truly amazing."
"Australia's innovation is unmatched."
"And the buffet options, goodness me."
"Who needs vending machines and trolley carts when you've got Villis pies and sausage roles."
While Takaichi was very impressed by the incredible Australian rail network, she was left rather underwhelmed by the state of our convenience stores.
"Hmmmm, where are the egg sandos, the sushi triangles and strong zeroes," she laughed.
"And I walked into the toilet. What is wrong with you people."
However, it's believed the train link between Sydney and Canberra has been enough to cement the relationship between our two countries, with agreements signed on critical minerals, energy security and defence cooperation.
More to come.
