The King's son and his wife are here and our hot-headed cousins down the street at Sky News are annoyed about it.
They are not happy about it because the Australian taxpayer is covering their added security costs, mostly police overtimes and whatnot, and that Meghan Markle is existing and they don't like her for reasons disclosed many time but rarely consumed.
While their visit remains on the middle pages of largely worthless mastheads like the Sydney Morning Private School Update Newsletter and the failing Courier Mail, it remains at the forefront for Sky News for some perverted, skin-deep reason.
Our reporter spent the previous hour watching Sky News on mute in the boardroom and observed a conga line of people either consuming too much food and wine or ozempic abusers on the inverse. All had one topic on their tongues.
"Grrrr, that old man on our coins, his son is here and it's costing us the big bucks," said one of them.
"We should be spending that cash on Australians who are doing arse just trying to live, people like our viewers! People like you, who are watching TV at 2:30pm on a Tuesday."
Feeling called out, our reporter turned the TV back over to reruns of Storage Wars on 7mate.
More to come.
