Liam Hibberson (27) received the spray following his repeated voicing of concerns around a mate’s fashion accessory for the Milk and Owls festival.
“Mate, I guarannteeeeee (sic) you will be the first one asking me for a look inside the Fireball walking cane,” laughed Liam’s mate Greg, who has been twirling around his latest fashion accessory.
“So stop ya whinging about it looking a bit suss,” said Greg, popping another couple of Blazin' Apple minis into the walking cane that doubles as a nice little repository.
“Besides, it’s actually for my legs, they’ll be getting a bit sore during the day you know,” he winked.
With the crew of 10 or so mates descending upon the Show Grounds for the annual festival that features plenty of Triple J royalty and a fair few local up and comers, Greg confirmed he’s almost certain Liam will be the first one trying to weasel himself a bit of grog.
“Always the way mate,” laughed Greg as they headed out of the gatho in backyard of a dilapidated Enmore sharehouse towards the Show Grounds.
“I look forward to a bit of cat and mouse with him actually.”
“Slide out a couple of minis and then seal the cane off and play hard to get.”
“Try and make him spit the dummy.”
“See how we go.”
