Australia's poor Gen Zs have hard their first cruel encounter with the sands of time this week.

This comes as the nation's youngest adult cohort suddenly realise that the next time Halloween lands on a Saturday will be in 2037 when they are sad, old and too boring to party.

The popular American holiday has been fully embraced by the TikTok generation - despite their Halloween hating parents - and this year, the Gen Z’s truly pulled up to Halloween in ways they haven’t before.

27-year-old, Eloise Smith knew she had to go all out this Saturday.

“The next time Halloween lands on a Saturday is when I’ll be 38.”

“So I had to get my boobs out cause I dunno what state they’ll be in 11 years time” Eloise told our reporter.

"I can remember what my mums boobs looked like at that age, and I'm not sure she would've been able to pull off Spring Breakers"

Eloise dressed as a slutty Julia Gillard misogyny speech, which she believes perfectly represents the ideology behind the speech.

“Tits out and taken seriously is what Julia would’ve wanted.”

Another Gen Z party goer struggled to understand why it would be another 11 years until the next Saturday Halloween.

“But wouldn’t it be in the next 7 years? Wait but then there’s leaps years so wait, do you have a whiteboard? Local gay, Jamie Wilson asked our reporter.

“Halloween is all about looking as a hot as possible and then not remembering any of it the next day”

“Are you even allowed to drink when you’re in your late 30s, you have to look after a kid or your husband.”

“It’s grim.”

Jamie kept it simple this year by dressing up as a black cat, wearing only cat ears and black latex underwear.

“Let’s just say my Halloween was a success.”

Gen Zs are still hopeful that their next Saturday Halloween will be as fun as this year but fear that there'd be a bigger chance of them owning a house by then.
