Couple Whose Primary Form Of Communication Is Snapchat Might Not Be Built To Last

A young Betoota Heights couple still relying on Snapchat to communicate clearly aren't in it for the long run, inside sources say.

Lochie and Tamsyn met through mutual friends on a casual Friday at the pub in the final months of 2023.

Snapchats were exchanged, and from there, a beautiful love story blossomed.

And though it took them about 6 months to exchange numbers, and another 3 to friend each other on facebook, they were 19 after all. It made sense.

Now 22, however, friends and family are concerned about the couple's future considering they haven't yet made the leap to iMessage or even messenger.

“They reckon they're soulmates, like fully think they're gonna get married,” said Lochie's best mate Jonesy.

“Look. I'm not trying to be a dick. But what do they expect, that they'll be 35 snapping each other, have each other's name as ‘Wifey’ and ‘Hubby’ with a heart emoji or two?”

Lochie and Tamsyn maintain the 732 day streak is the primary driving force behind their loyalty to the app.

“They said that?” said Jonesy.

“Wow. That is even fucking worseeeeee.”

Only time will tell, however, if the couple really is ‘built to last’.

More to come.
