Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s public relations team have held crisis talks this week as they work out how to stop Albo from showing his mug at Magic Round.

After an intense week of post budget scrutiny, led by legacy media organisations who want to shell the hell out of Albo’s plans to stop negative gearing, it’s believed Albanese’s team are brainstorming ways to keep him away from Brisbane.

With a festival of Rugba Leeg about to take place in BrisVegas, it’s understood Albo has briefly mentioned to his staffers that he plans to spend his weekend trying to shake hands with fellow Rabbitohs fans along Caxton Street.

Well aware that the image of any major politician at sporting events is generally welcomed with loud boos’, Albo’s PR team are currently thinking of ways to keep Albo well away from Suncorp Stadium.

In a top secret encrypted group chat held on WhatsApp, it’s understood eight highly paid staffers are furiously researching for a way to send Albanese to any state, but Queensland.

“What’s on in Melbourne this weekend, we need to think quick!!” mashed one young Canberra bootlicker, devoid of any ideas.

“Can we send him to Opera Australia's 70th Anniversary Gala??”

“Nah we need something more common man, that’s not rugby league!” answered one advisor.

“What about Darwin? Suns versus Port on Friday night, that’ll keep him well away from the Rabbitohs game!”, suggested another Victorian staffer who’s fully across the current AFL schedule.

“Nah nah, that still gives him a chance to pop up Saturday afternoon in the beer garden of the Caxton, attempting to get himself on the Fox Sports Super Saturday broadcast…” replied the senior veteran.

“Think further, more international! I want him shaking hands with the president of a small pacific island nation on Sunday, what’s happening in Port Moresby this weekend?”

More to come.
