In some welcome news for parents around the country, school is back!
After two long weeks of trying to keep kids entertained in a modern but DANGEROUS world, many are relieved to be able to return to a bit more of a routine.
Particular the parents of little angels who are 'great kids' for 10-11 weeks and then just turn into little shits miraculously over the two weeks of school holidays.
One such set of parents are Ashley and Winston Hillsdale of the French Quarter.
The famously gentle parents who are in tune with all of their kids emotions and like to rationalise with the children as if they are fully grown adults, said they are actually pretty glad the kids are back at school.
"Oh they were really over stimulated by the end there," said Ashley, the mum of Timmy and Elsa Winston.
"And that just led to them not being able to mask their behaviour," said Ashley, who has had multiple run ins with the local Primary School teacher over Timmy's lashing out at other kids.
"So I think it's just going to be really good to get them back in a routine and in some regularity you know," said Ashely who may or may not be able to go 5 minutes without scrolling on her phone.
When asked about whether the regularity of a teacher's behaviour management of her sensitive kids might be useful as well, Ashely laughed.
"Oh they don't really know how to cater to them properly," chimed in Winston.
"Like they just treat them like normal kids and it really sets them off, particularly Timmy," said Winston in regards to boundaries and behavioural expectations put in place by his kid's teachers.
"It's more just the routine that will sort them out."
More to come.
