Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has today called the nation in for a big meeting, that definitely could have and should have been an email.
After weeks of saying we aren't at war, Albanese called everyone together to give a weird wartime address.
Putting a time into everyone's calendar without checking their availability first, the PM promised to "do everything we can to protect Australia from the worst" of the war in the Middle East.
He said Australians can expect the economic shock from the war to last 'months' while he offered up very little in the way of solutions.
He also once again urged people to make the switch to public transport if they can, as if people who can already aren't.
It's unknown when the next stand up WIP will take place, with the PM urged to maybe just drop these things into people's inboxes to read at a convenient time next time around.
More to come.
