Sophie Hyer (28) returned home at around 9pm last night from a long weekend spent wine tasting with the girls.

The Betoota Heights resident has since stated she has no plans to unpack her suitcase anytime soon.

“Only psychos unpack straight away, anyway,” she said.

Starting this morning with a quick coffee and leftover hot cross bun, Sophie wandered back to her room in search of an outfit.

She chose to ignore her wardrobe and drawers and instead rummage through the suitcase full of clothes she never got round to wearing over the three day trip.

“Perfect!” she said, retrieving a blouse and skirt combo much more fit for the office than the vineyard.

“I’ll deal with the rest of that when I get a chance,” she added, taking her toiletries bag to the bathroom.

Sophie’s partner Lachie says this happens every time the young woman goes on a trip.

“That toiletries bag will stay on the vanity for weeks, just watch,” he said.

“And don’t even get me started on the suitcase,”

“It’s like she purposely packs enough for three weeks just so she can live out of it for a while once she gets back,”

Sophie has defended herself by saying there’s rarely a twenty minute window during the week to get the job done.

Considering the couple have plans to spend the ANZAC long weekend on the coast, the suitcase will likely be in use until May.
