Woke Maths Teacher Accused Of Indoctrinating Kids By Teaching Them About Compound Interest

A 43 year veteran of Betoota Heights High has today been the subject of a rather interesting parent meeting.

Fresh off the back of One Nation and the Coalition's interesting wage suppression policy involving early access to Super, the old fella from the maths block has been accused of spreading dangerous propaganda around a thing called 'compound interest.'

Mr Hartcher (aka Greg Hartcher, aka Hartch) was today subjected to a short but sweet argument with one of the dads of his year 9 students, who wanted to chat about 'what he's been teaching the kids.'

Mr Hartcher says he was rather shocked to be accused of being a 'woke leftie' who's 'brainwashing kids with' radical propaganda.

The alleged brainwashing in question came in the form of a 9B math's class yesterday, where Hartch took the students through the mathematic principle of compounding interest.

"Yeah I wasn't aware basic numeracy was leftist propaganda, but these are the strange times we find ourselves in I guess," says the old bloke known for saying some rather off colour things at the pub about blue-haired lefties.

"I told Jaxon's dad to take a hike, a polite respectful way of course."

"Apparently Jaxon went home and started asking questions about all this super stuff in the context of compound interest."

"Which his dad didn't like."

"But I'm not really sure how the fuck that's my problem."

"He then started whinging about trans stuff when I put him on the back foot."

"Look, a complete waste of time, but from a personal level it was kind of fun to walk him around I guess."
