A man who has kept some niche Wikipedia article open on his phone since 2014, and who got into SBS's Dateline at an age when he probably should've been watching cartoons, really wishes he could correct Pauline Hanson on one thing.

"Look, politics aside, she's been calling it a Burqa since before I was born, how has no one corrected her on this?"

The 30 year old, who somehow knows more about international politics than Australian politics, has spent years wanting to correct the veteran anti-immigration politician on one of her favourite talking points.

After watching her collaborative 60 minutes episode with notorious anti-immigration activist Tommy Robinson, the cultural mix-up was once again brought to the forefront.

"She kept pointing at woman wearing the Niqab and talking about how much she hates the Burqa."

"Even Tommy Robinson had to correct her."

"Please for the love of god someone explain to her that the Burqa is a culturally specific garment worn mainly by Pashtun and Baloch that live in Afghanistan and parts of Pakistan."

"The one that freaks her out is called the Niqab, which leaves the eyes visible, and can be seen throughout the conservative Sunni Muslim world."

The 30 year old insisted that while he doesn't really have much of an opinion on the garment worn by a very small conservative faction of one of the world's biggest religions, he does think if you've made banning them your main political talking point for the last 3 decades then you should probably know what they are called.
