An out of touch couple in Melbourne have continued to flaunt their lavish lifestyle with the admission that their apartment is big enough to have a dining room.

"Yep, even fits a dining table," said Felix Hamilton (31).

"We worked hard for this," added Sara Rose (29).

The young couple have defended their elitist lifestyle choice,  believing they aren't class traitors for not eating in the lounge room like every other inner city renter in 2026.

"Look, we know people are doing it rough, but if we can actually survive without renting out a spare room we're going to enjoy that," insisted Sara.

Many of their close friends say the couple hasn't been the same since they moved into the apartment.

"It's like ever since they moved to that apartment they think they're better than us?" said one of Sara's good friends.

"Not all of us will experience living somewhere spacious enough to eat a meal upright at a table."

"They've got four chairs around it too. Four. They could theoretically have people over for dinner without anyone sitting on the couch holding a plate."

The couple have since posted photos online showing pasta, wine glasses and even a vase on the table, prompting accusations they have lost touch.

Felix denies the dining room has changed them.

"We still rent. We're normal," he said, before revealing the apartment has a laundry room also.
