NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian called a press conference this afternoon in Sydney where she proceeded to take the piss out of Dan Andrews and James Merlino by pretending to call a swift and brutal lockdown after just one case emerged in Bondi.

“Oh no!” she laughed.

“We need to lock everything down and close the economy. Oh no! God help us all. Sorry business, sorry casual workers! Sorry regional NSW that needs to shut down, too, despite not having a case EVER!”

“My hands are tied! Sorry.”

The Premier then composed her self and clarified the government’s position.

“We’re not locking down,” she said.

“Ever again. I’ve got the support of my government in that decision. Lock up your grandmas, lock up your grandpas. Get the jab or get dead. That’s all, thanks.”

More to come.
