Proving that she’s a much better ally to the Aussie gays than Beyonce, who controversially did not include Australia and New Zealand in her 2025 world tour, Gaga will be doing shows in a show each in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane this coming December, with more shows expected to come.
Presale tickets were released Monday morning on Ticketek, resulting in hundreds of thousands of people waiting in line. Though there are still some tickets available, Ticketek’s dynamic pricing model means that all the best and fairly priced tickets have been snapped up straight away, likely by all the gays who are lucky enough to have a cushy office job.
In fact, decibels were heard reaching 160 decibels this afternoon at Betoota’s unofficial gay gym, ‘Frenchies’, as the guys discussed who got the best Gaga tickets, and who, *gasp, isn’t going.
“My Brisbane friend got me really good tickets, it only cost me $160”, says Nathan, 35, who fell in love the second he saw the music video for Poker Face, “he got in really quickly though.”
Mitch, a baby gay who got into Gaga during her Chromatic era, laments that his ticket cost $500.
“But so worth it though.”
