If you are lucky enough to be on the banks of the Swan River in East Perth, well hopefully you can get to the Rose and Crown in Guildford.
Because as anyone who has been there can attribute, it is a very very nice place for a beer.
This comes after a recent study conducted by the Licensing Inquiries and Testing For Australian Management (LitFam) confirmed that it is, as mentioned, a very very nice place for a beer.
Self-proclaimed as the oldest pub in the state (sorry to the good folks at Albany Hotel), the R&C also lays claim to a couple of ghosts as well.
While laying claim to seeing ghosts is a fairly common occurrence for those who might be rolling into a watering hole after a big night or two, the Rose and Crown is allegedly home to a few characters of the past - including bushranger Moondyne Joe.
However, according to all reports, he is actually a pretty friendly fella, but locals advise against getting into a shout with him.
Regardless of the aforementioned ghosts, it's still a magic spot for a Pint of Swan, Little Creatures or whatever you fancy.
Happy Friday.
