US President Donald Trump is pressing on this week with his on-again-off-again hobby of holding the world to ransom by adding his own toll to the Strait of Hormuz.
Sharing his perso SWIFT code to TruthSocial on Monday, the President said all ships that transit the stretch of hotly-contested war will have to pay 20% of the cargo value to Trump himself.
"Ignore the country and bank code, they are correct but they are fake," said the President.
It's understood by The Advocate that the code shared directed payments to a little-known, privately-held Swiss bank that this masthead has chosen not to publish due to The Advocate's board and trustees choosing to bank with the same one, albiet via their Singapore office.
"This is a new toll that fairly reflects the contribution America is making to keeping the Strait of Hormuz open. It is very expensive. We should not have to cover the bill, other countries but also pay," Trump added.
"20% of the value of cargo and people, it's a small toll. Very, very small. Please pay it to this account."
Despite widespread backlash and repeated slammings from other world leaders, nothing is expected to be done about this latest development in the rapid dwindling of US hegemony.
More to come.
