Travelling Australian Woman’s Self Confidence Is Back After Meeting An Old European Man

An Aussie woman was seen strutting with confidence today after an old Italian man called her a beautiful lady. 

25 year old, Emma Stewart, was solo travelling Italy when she started to feel rather self conscious due to the intense humidity and her fake tan wearing off. 

“You know when it’s so sweaty that your hair kinda goes curly around the front even if you got straight hair?” Emma asked our reporter. 

“That combined with the speckled tan coming off between my boobs and arms, I wasn’t looking or feeling my glamorous self.” 

As Emma was walking down the streets of Cicily with her gelato, she really began to question whether two gelatos a day was appropriate for an uggo girl like herself. 

But everything changed when an old leathery Italian man on the side of the street drinking an espresso shouted at her “beautiful lady.” 

Emma, who usually despises a cat call in Australia, happily accepted the compliment, shouting out “grazie” at the old fellow. 

“Unfortunately he was a little out of my age bracket, but the compliment was just what I needed to get back on the horse.” 

“I looked at my reflection in a shop window and I actually thought I looked hot, it was amazing.” 

Emma went back to her airbnb and posted an Insta story immediately without overthinking it. 

“I was giving like Euro summer Italian chic, hot girl glowy, travelling baddie.” 

“Obviously I don’t need male validation to feel good about myself but honestly if we had more men in Australia like my cute European man, then I think there would be a lot more people hooking up.”
