An eastern suburbs micro influencer has been spotted skipping down Moore Park Road today, as she relishes in the perfect weather for social media content.

Having spent the afternoon sipping $26 Aperols at a nearby Paddington gastro-pub, 29 year old digital media strategist Georgina Ascham-Simmonshurst simply can’t wait to watch her favourite footy team “The Swannies” at the SCG, and curate the whole experience on social media.

Flanked by a squad of private school friends, who are all secretly deeply ashamed to not be flaunting around Europe at the moment, Georgina’s reportedly thrilled to enjoy the footy from the comforts of the members pavilion, and is hoping to get a few phone numbers of square jawed boys from Double Bay.

“What. A. Day” she squealed, as she twirled around in her Camilla & Marc trench coat, and adjusted her new Chimi sunglasses.

“Does anyone have a portable charger, my phone’s cooked!”

Speaking to Georgina’s close mate Samuel, it’s alleged not a single member of the group can name a player, or understands AFL rules, but that isn’t going to stop them from rubbing shoulders with fellow well-heeled Swannies fans, who never watch a game unless the side is playing 2kms from their terrace house.

“What’s that, who are we playing? The Port Adelaide Lions? Samuel sneered, double checking one of his chummy mates had sent him his SCG members tickets.

“I think they’re like the povo South Australian team, like the league version of the Parramatta Eels. Tough game tho, they could really challenge us in the finals!”
