Ritalin No Match For Fruit Roll Ups

Ritalin No Match For Fruit Roll Ups

A Green Road State School student is currently bouncing off the walls after somehow managing to get his hands on a fruit roll up at lunchtime.

Lochie Vaughn (8) is notoriously prone to a sugar rush - something his teachers learnt early on in his education.

Though the class clown still sometimes plays up, his behaviour has largely improved since year 3 teacher Miss Moody advised his parents to cut the coco pops before class. Plus, thanks to modern medicine, Lochie is now diagnosed and medicated.

But he still has his ways.

After dominating the handball court, he and his peers filed back into the classroom.

It started with a paper plane aimed straight for Miss Moody’s head. Before long, Lochie had graduated to full blown laps of the classroom and an attempt to swing from the fan.

“Oh ffs,” said Miss Moody, realising it was unlikely the young boy was running off of the celery and hommus his mother had packed for him.

“Was it a pop-top or fruit roll up? Which was it?” she asked the other kids.

Jemima Graham meekly admitted she’d given Lochie a roll up in exchange for a pack of tiny teddys.

“Fuck fuck fuck,” said Miss.

“To the oval.”

Evacuating the kids from the classroom, Lochie is now understood to be burning through the large amount of red food dye consumed with a game of rather intense dodgeball.

School principal Mr Dawson is praising the young teacher for her fast thinking and efforts to divert the situation.

More to come.
