4 months after Operation Epic Fury exploded onto the world's radar, a stunning new admission has come to light.
It has been revealed that the war with Iran may have not actually been about improving the lives of the Iranian people.
The shocking and disturbing allegation comes after a big month of media radio silence, as petrol prices recede and attention spans fatigue in regards to the major conflict.
That silence followed a bigger month earlier this year of every media organisation and sensible centrist talking about how the people of Iran were suffering, and regardless of what you think of the US President, this war would lead to the overthrowing of the Iranian regime and would ultimately improve the lives of ordinary people.
However, despite x amount of bombs raining down on Iran and plenty of huff and puff about winning the war, it's been revealed that the lives of many Iranian people are still very very shit.
Geopolitical Professor from South Betoota Polytechnic, Ipa In-Aspi explained that he is coming to terms with the fact he might have got this one wrong.
"Yeah, it turns out Donald Trump and America's military industrial complex may not have had the interests of the Iranian people at heart," he sighed.
"I mean, I know that technically the CIA overthrew a progressive government in Iran that was in charge of some of the highest female literacy rates in the world because the they weren't letting British Petroleum pillage their oil back in the day, but I thought this time was different."
"I thought Trump was focused on making life better for the people of Iran, not motivated by self interest and propelled on by the war machine who have seen military spends around the world go through the roof."
"Oh well, I'm sure the next war that pops up involving America will be for the right cause and we should all get behind the media narrative."
More to come.
