After 60 long years of carry on, the English have once again proven that they are the Parramatta Eels of world football.

This comes after the poms succumbed to two stunning late goals to old enemies the Argentinians in Dallas moments ago.

The late equaliser and winner couldn't have been more perfectly timed for neutral fans, with the English just 10 minutes away from a World Cup final.

However, as is now apparently fate, it wasn't meant to be.

Because, it's never coming home.

Because football doesn't belong at some Saudi owned football team in England or in some Spoons boozer.

Football is going to siesta somewhere.
