The South Betoota Polytechnic's Sociology Department has today released an interesting memo.
With the season to be silly upon us, the SBPSD has dropped a short but sharp publication about the betting on cricket.
Released on a warm Friday afternoon with the 2nd day of the Gabba Test in full swing, the memo claims that no normal person bets on Test match cricket.
"Yeah, betting on test match cricket isn't cricket," confirmed the Dean of the Faculty.
"Betting on cricket generally is pretty crook, but if you can't enjoy the beauty of test cricket without betting on it..."
"Then you are a degenerate."
"Which is fine, but you should know that."
"And and with plenty of Test Cricket ahead, we just thought we'd reconfirm that."
The Dean then confirmed that he is certainly partial to a flutter, but just not on cricket.
"Oh I love a first tryscorer as much the next bloke," laughed the Dean.
"And a day at the races."
"Putting money on Test cricket. No."
