Rob Zigna, producer of popular podcast, SayMore, found himself in quite an awkward position in the studio this morning while pre-recording an upcoming episode with a well known celebrity.
Speaking with The Advocate, Rob says it was as if the host and the guest telepathically agreed to just forgo the obligatory compliments and instead do what every host-guest duo wishes they could.
“I thought they were just getting up to shake hands, but suddenly they were going at it”
“Seven minutes in heaven style”
Rob went on to say that he thought he could still hear compliments whispered breathlessly between pashes, but he couldn’t be sure because their mics weren’t on at that point.
The host of SayMore, Dox Bateman, is no stranger to celebrity guests with the podcast boasting names like Bill Arnett, Steph Jobbs, and Barack Shmobama just to name a few. When asked if this type of intimacy would happen again, Dox said he wouldn’t rule it out.
“I mean it’s the outcome I always secretly hope for. I’m just glad [redacted] was on the same wavelength”
It’s understood that the celebrity, who wished to remain nameless, is in Australia doing a press junket for an upcoming movie about very fast cars. The episode is due to air later in July.
More to come.
