Australia’s richest person, Gina Rinehart, has purchased a $1 Billion share in Elon Musk’s SpaceX, assuring One Nation senator Pauline Hanson her very own spaceship will be coming soon.
The two women share a close friendship which has become increasingly publicised after they were spotted enjoying lunch together in Thailand early last year.
Simultaneously, their friendship has morphed into a political alliance, with Hanson recently confirming the advice she takes from the billionaire mining magnate actively informs her policy.
In April, their relationship only intensified after Rinehart gifted Hanson’s party their very own brand new $1.3 million Cirrus G7.
However, Hanson quickly realised this purchase only represented 0.003% of Rinehart’s networth, and became hungry for more.
“More more more. Daddy I want a pony, ha ha,” she said, according to One Nation insiders.
SpaceX, which was founded by Elon Musk in 2002, is an aerospace manufacturer, or more simply, it makes rockets and spaceships.
In an official statement, Rinehart said she’s looking forward to collaborating on AI infrastructure and unlocking some ‘mates rates’ benefits regarding the spaceships.
“I would hope this transaction grants me at least two private spaceships. One for me and one for Pauline,” it reads.
“So one orange spaceship please. Or they can both be orange.”
Hanson, who is yet to publicly address Rinehart’s purchase, reportedly told insiders she’s ‘gassed’ for her first joyride.
“I’m going to recreate that Katy Perry pic lol.”
