Pauline Hanson Turns Around Plummeting Opinion Polls By Offering Her Balanced And Empathetic Opinions On Domestic Violence

One of the nation's aspiring Prime Ministers has today offered up another insight into what her leadership of the country could look like.

In an effort to try and turn around her slide in the polls, Pauline Hanson has shocked plenty today by claiming today that domestic violence is a 'two way street.'

Speaking to Brisbane's 4BC today, Pauline said:

“It is wrong, but it’s also a two-way street. But I’m not saying that it’s just men ... women can lose their cool as well," said the politician who wants to be PM of a country that had 4 women killed by men in domestic violence incidents last week.

Hanson also said women who were subject to abuse should leave the relationship.

“Domestic violence is a scourge, but sometimes, look, I’m not going to go in detail, but I’ve been through it myself in my life, and I just feel that if you’re not in a house where you feel safe, you feel you don’t want to be there, then you shouldn’t put up with it. And if these women are getting abused by men out there, then don’t put up with it. That’s what I’m saying" she said about citizens of a country with failing bail laws, where men frequently breach Apprehended Violence Orders and kill women.

The incredibly empathetic and well thought out comments on the scourge of men's violence against women in this country are reportedly a reflection of the dip in the polls, with Hanson seemingly lashing out as a result.

They follow her previews comments on things like the Family Court, where she says women frequently lie to get custody of their kids.

The new low for the certified noise merchant and grievance grifter has still left a large number of people gobsmacked, with advocates shocked they need to clarify that it can actually be really hard to leave an abusive relationship, and domestic violence is in fact not a two way street.

It's unknown what sensationalist soundbite is going to come from Hanson next, but if the poll slides are anything to go by, there's speculation it could somehow get worse.
