Deputy One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has this week needlessly defended her European holiday from critics, telling the many and varied swamp rats of Australian media that she has indeed paid her way.
Sources close to the Senator have told The Advocate that she has been paying for the occasional dinner and has "chipped in" for some of the accomodation, so the mean-spirited and patently-false allegations that her trip is being paid for by somebody else have no basis.
Acting-Opposition leader Malcolm Roberts has been forced to pause his own holiday to defend Hanson, calling a press conference outside his Eagle Street electoral office in Brisbane.
"There has been the suggestion that Pauline's trip is being paid for by various donors and the like, it's not true. Pauline has been paying her own way," said Roberts.
"Now, we have cleared that up, we can talk about what I have been up to. I have empirical evidence that the Tilt Train between Brisbane and Rockhampton doesn't actually tilt at all. We have been sold the tilting lie by the same globalist parasites that have infested government around the world. Do you want to hear it?"
More to come.
