Panasonic's CEO has taken the rare step this week of publicly pleading with Senator Pauline Hanson to please stop cooking steak on the Panasonic Sandwich Maker NF-GW1WSK in the her parliamentary kitchenette.

In recent months, Hanson has been observed using the appliance to cook wagyu steaks on. Most notably, when the Senator was in the throes of wooing now-One Nation leader Barnaby Joyce. Hanson invited cameras into her modest senate office, where she was seen to sizzle up a sit down dinner using the trusty Panasonic.

While it has taken time for news to filter back to Panasonic's Japanese HQ, it has failed to dull reaction from the CEO Kazuhiro Tsuga.

Speaking on Tuesday in Osaka, Tsuga said he was first made aware of the One Nation deputy's penchant for abusing Panasonic appliances over the weekend and felt personally motivated to respond.

"Please, Lady Senator, do not use sandwich maker to make a steak on," he said during a atypical English-language press conference.

"It is just for sandwich."

The Advocate has reached out to Senator Hanson and Barnaby Joyce for comment but have yet to receive a reply.
