Member for Farrer David Farley has echoed the sentiments this week of his lower house colleague Barnaby Joyce who claim One Nation is the one of the 'gayest' political parties.
He has done so by telling reporters this morning in Griffith that man does not become one without engaging in buggery.
"You're not a man 'till you've had a man," he said.
"That's what we've always said down here in the Riverina. We're not afraid of, you know, blokes getting it on. It's been happening down this way for hundreds of years. You know, there's, uh, nothing wrong with it. What else are isolated public toilets and rest stops for?"
"You know, bloody, you can't find a rest stop between Wagga and Wentworth that hasn't seen a bit of bloke-on-bloke horizontal riverdancing. It's cultural. And people are still wondering how One Nation won the by-election. The answer is, there's gay people everywhere!"
The Advocate makes no suggestion that the random gentleman next to Mr Farley, who was not introduced or referenced in anyway, subscribes to that lifestyle.
Nor do we suggest that Mr Farley is also a paid up member of the Lavender Society of NSW. He is a country gentleman who just happens to have different politics to you.
The Advocate reached out to One Nation for comment but have yet to hear back from James Ashby.
More to come.
