A local content creator has found himself out on his arse this afternoon, after making a rather serious error.
Social Media manager Tim Carson (26) was fired by the NRL club he works for a short time ago, after failing to jump on a VIRAL trend.
With every professional, semi-professional and amateur sporting club around the world posting an announcement about signing basketball Goat Lebron James (sorry Jordan stans), Carson's failure to get involved has seem him out of a job.
Steering the socials for over 18 months at the club, Carson learnt how quickly things can come undone after a senior figure within the club gave him a spray in front of the open plan office.
"Mate, where the fuck is our post about signing LeBron," said the furious footy exec who thinks the social page should be run to suit his own personal taste.
"I've seen every single other organisation in this league get on board, and we've completely missed the boat."
"You missed the whole 6 7 thing, and now this."
"It's just not good enough. I've asked the videographer to sort something, but it's too late."
"You can head to the Dragons now and post shit about Gutho having fun at training after another loss."
"See ya!"
Carson declined to comment for the story, simply saying he's considering all options.
More to come.
