In some feel good news for the nation on a Friday afternoon, a nice viral moment is continuing to burn.

For those who don't spend too much time on their devices, the social media across the country is currently being treated to a new hit song by a Miles Phillips and his dad called Eastern Rosellas.

The song pays tribute to the beauty of the Eastern Rosella, and their marvellous colour scheme.

The extremely catchy tune from the young Ed Sheeran has been picked up by national sporting teams and social media personalities with views ticking into the many millions.

It's a moment that everyone can get around, including Betoota Plains Nanna Audrey Williams (82).

"Yeah I'm not normally one for the beep bop stuff love, but this one's a beauty," said Audrey.

"Really great message as well."

"Just a marvellous bird the Eastern Rosella," said the octogenarian who still refuses to buy any tomato sauce other than Rosella.

"It's great that they are getting a bit of extra attention and appreciation."

"They should do one on the Electus Parrot next."

"They are really beauties those ones."
