The 2026 Met Gala has kicked off over in the states, and it seems Brisbane-bred actor Jacob Elordi knows exactly how to make his state proud.

The 28 year old arrived dressed in RM Williams Chelsea Boots, snug chinos, and a striped button up with the perfect amount of chest on show - an homage to his days spent as a Valley rat.

The look was reportedly co-designed by Elordi and his personal stylist, who spent over three months curating the perfect pieces.

“We really wanted to put Jacob in something that honoured his roots and that he could wear confidently at the same time. Something familiar,” said the genius Gregorio Donnasache.

Elordi hasn't attended the event since 2022, where he donned an all black burberry suit which seemingly caused some degree of physical discomfort.

“You can take the boy out of Brissy, but can’t take the Brissy out of the boy, ha ha ha,” said Elordi.

Whether or not his rumoured beau Kendall Jenner will arrive in a matching Supré mini dress has not yet been confirmed, though fans are hopeful.

Either way, it’s likely the Met Gala afterparty will hardly compare to a late night session at Ric’s backyard and bar.

More to come.
