A Betoota Plains man has drawn a rather strong reaction from some of his friends after a social game of soccer last night.
Greg Olivic (32) caused the bout of laughter post game, when the group entered into a discussion around the recent season of Alone Australia.
With plenty of Seasons of Alone (Australia and not Australia) to poke a sharpened stick at, the recent Aussie contingent in Artic Circle was this week's topic of conversation.
As the herd continues to thin on Sami country in Finland, Olivic has offered up some interesting insights on how Trent v Dylan is the real battle - and how exactly he would survive the harsh climate of the great north.
"Mate, catching bulk fish and smoking that shit is all you gotta do," said Olivic, who recently went multiple days without catching a thing off the beach and rocks at a popular coastal holiday town.
"My problem is I'd actually be like Muzza," he continued, referencing the great Alone contestant who actually caught so many fish he gave himself gout and exited the show in an emotional finale.
"I'd probably be too good at fishing..."
"I'd actually be beast at making a shelter too," continued Olivic, replicating the brash confidence displayed by contestants who are often the first to exit the show.
With his friends roasting his ability to catch fish and endure multiple hours without food, Olivic said he'd happily prove them wrong but he can't apply cause he has heaps on at work.
More to come.
