A local man has received the audible equivalent of a brush of an electric fence on the farm, after a rather interesting question from his significant other.
Enjoying a mate’s birthday drinks, the relatively open minded and progressive bloke said he was rocked yesterday after hearing his girlfriend flat out proposition someone who was essentially a complete stranger.
“Mate, she just flat out asked if our mate’s mate from work wanted a pash,” laughed Dale Thompson.
“I mean, respectfully she was an attractive lady and oozed aura when she walked into the room, but straight-up asking her that was a bit, how you going, I thought,” said Dale.
However, thankfully Dale’s girlfriend Geneve wasn’t trying to blow things up in front of a collection of their mates, she was simply offering a potential new friend a drink.
A vodka passionfruit drink to be exact, or a "pash" as it was affectionately dubbed by Geneve.
More specifically, she was offering the new Billson's Aussie Style Passionfruit Double Vodka, much to the confusion of her unsuspecting boyfriend.
“All I said was Fancy a Pash lol,” laughed Geneve, who knew exactly what she was doing.
“Dale was staring at his phone, probably on his fantasy football or something, so I wanted to get his attention.”
“And it worked,” she laughed.
“And I look forward to rolling the gag out again,” finished the punny local lady.
