Betoota Heights fitness fanatic Sam Camden is absolutely kicking himself he didn't fire up his Garmin last night.

The 2 time hybrid rockstar event competitor revealed to The Advocate this afternoon that he actually missed out on putting his most hectic cardio workout of the year on Strava - a fact he is not happy about.

Speaking to our humble regional newspaper on the B13 out of town, Camden said he often fires up the Garmin for even the most light workouts.

However, the seasoned tennis player didn't think he'd be up to too much taking his new girlfriend for a 'hit of tennis.'

"Boy was I wrong," he laughed.

Enjoying a nice hour season on the synthetic courts of Casa Do Porto in Betoota's Flight Path District (aka the Flight Path Tennis Club) - Camden said he covered more ground than in his most recent Hyrox.

With his girlfriend barely raising a sweat and having the time of her life, Camden said she was really working him around the court.

"Yeah credit to her," said the bloke who was making a lovely effort to ensure the overwhelming majority of his returns where in her perfect hitting zone.

"I've kept saying we should have a hit and she's not super sporty, so it was awesome she came and gave it a crack."

"I politely hosed down her suggestion for a game at the end, cause I'm not sure she realised how much court coverage was going on for me to continue returning her shots haha."

"But I should have had the Garmin going."

"A real missed opportunity."
