Logan City Council Votes That Anyone Caught Wearing Pervert Glasses Will Get A Hiding

Sunglasses with secret cameras hidden in them are extremely suss, and anyone wearing them - for any reason - is a creep, it has been confirmed.

This comes as Yarra City Council ban smart glasses in their playgrounds, childcare centres and gyms - because anyone wearing them in those places are likely sex offenders.

They join Perth City Council, The City of Sydney, Canterbury-Bankstown Council and Perth in banning the devices from pools amid fears about privacy and secret recording.

In August, Brisbane City Council moved first to announce a blanket ban on the non-consensual use of all camera-enabled devices, including wearable technology, phones, and action cameras.

Pressure is now mounting on the Federal Government to stop being lapdogs to the big tech companies and legislate import bans, as the nation realises that social media algorithms and AI are two curses of modern life that encourage extreme violations of privacy and a complete lack of manners.

However, one local council has gone further than just implementing bans. Logan City Council, which governs a rapidly growing population of over 403,000 residents across 70 suburbs and 12 divisions south of Brisbane.

A predominantly working class outer-metropolitan region, the people of Logan had flagged immediate concerns to their local councils the moment the pervert glasses landed on shelves.

Overnight, the council has declared that anyone caught wearing them will be met with a full blown hiding.

"It's simple really" said Logan City Councillor Darren Papali'i.

"If you are seen to be wearing the pervert glasses outside of your house, that includes in your own car while on public roads, you are fair game for anyone who wants to give you a dust up"

The council has also ruled that they have recieved confirmation from the Queensland Police that anyone who is found to have bashed up these perverts will recieve complete immunity of prosection.

"Providing they can provide evidence of having stomped on their glasses and destroyed them"

"The same goes for other discreetly body-worn camera. In fact, you know what, barring dash cams, anyone secretly filming anyone will get flogged."
