A local Betoota woman has remarkably survived a shopping trip for new jeans without breaking down and crying.
After years of water damage on the bottom of her trusty baggy jeans, 26 year old, Lily Jooste was forced to face the fact she needed a new pair.
“It’s one of those items of clothing you can’t trust buying online, it’s unfortunately easier to go in person” Lily explained.
“I don’t think I’ve ever had a positive experience jeans shopping” she added.
Lily went to her local Westfield, or from her perspective, the battle ground to find her new pair of denim pants.
But to Lily’s surprise the first store she walked into had just the right pair.
“I grabbed as many pairs as I could bring into the change room and the first pair fit perfectly” Lily told our reporter.
“They not only got around my thighs but they also didn’t have that gappy bit around the back of my waist.”
The midrise loose fitting jeans were also a decent $80, a price Lily was more than happy to pay for such an easy experience.
After purchasing the jeans, the only crying from Lily were tears of joy as she didn’t have to spend another second in that hell of a shopping centre.
Lily was greeted in the car park by women cheering her on and shaking her hand for the once in a lifetime moment.
“I don’t know what I did to deserve this, I just feel so lucky, so so so lucky” Lily said with a huge smile on her face.
Lily hopes her luck continues into summer when she’ll have to return to the Westfield to go bikini shopping.
