A relationship that started off very promising has unfortunately devolved into memes and Instagram reels, leaving one Betoota Heights woman feeling a bit hopeless.
Jessica Shipper, 28, says she isn’t really sure where things went wrong, but that she’s now somehow been ‘meme zoned’ – and to make things worse, a lot of the content really isn’t that funny.
“Yeah honestly it was going well, we even sent some pretty saucy things to each other”, explains Jessica, “but now all I get are mildly funny Instagram reels.”
“I’d go as far to say that these are clearly videos he finds funny, but not ones that he thinks I’d find funny, if you know what I mean?”
Showing our reporter her dms, which included several reels sent this week alone, Jessica explains the constant expectation to hit the laugh react has her feeling exhausted.
“I don’t even watch them anymore, I simply go to the comment section to see what sort of reaction it warrants.”
“It started out with a kiss, how did it end up like this?”
More to come.
