It's a springtime Friday arvo in a sunny beer garden and the third schooner has just made you realise the entire point of having the first two.
With the golden rays of light shining through the beer glass and then splintering into different directions across the wooden picnic table, it's become very clear that this is the only place in the world that you need to be at this very moment in time.
In fact, the contents of this schooner is almost irrelevant - as the beautiful shape and colours are simply enough to justify the trip you just made to the bar.
And with a clear afternoon schedule and a couple mates on the way, it seems there may be plenty more trips being made for such beauty.
But in the stillness that permeates through the air at close of business on yet another week of week, with nothing else but the background ambience of chit chatting patrons experiencing this same warm and fuzzy glow, it's almost as if the third schooner is talking to you.
And without trying to be overly romantic or poetic about this ephemeral moment of self - it's absolutely fair to say that it actually is.
"How's that feel?" it asks.
It's more of a rhetoric question if anything. Needs no answer.
Because the answer goes without saying:
Feels pretty good.
