Leftist Australian Media Continue Political Smear Campaign Against Our Most Decorated Soldier Just Like They Did To Our Most Decorated Policeman

As the seemingly forever culture wars enter their second decade, the nation is once again dealing with another flare up.

This time around the battle of Ben Roberts Smith has captured the attention of many on the internet and off it, with strong comments all round.

The 47-year-old former SAS soldier was arrested on 7 April and charged with murdering five unarmed detainees while deployed in Afghanistan between 2009 and 2012.

Earlier this month, in his first public comments Roberts-Smith said he and his family had been "subjected to a campaign to convince Australians that I'd acted improperly in my service in Afghanistan".

"As I've always maintained, I categorically deny all of these allegations," he said.

Keeping in tradition the left side of the battle for hearts and minds has once again been running a smear campaign against one of our most decorated figures.

Following in the footsteps of the relentless pursuit of one of NSW's most decorated coppers, Detective-Sergeant Roger Rogerson who experienced the same treatment from the noted leftists in charge of Australia's overwhelmingly commercially run media.

Rogerson, who was one of our nation's bravest men in a blue uniform, was also the most decorated police officer in NSW history.

Unlike these media elites and treasonous leftists, Rogerson actually put himself on the frontline - defending our society from evils - and putting himself in danger without asking to be thanked.

After decades of smear campaigns, eventually some of the mud that was flung at him stuck. Rogerson was implicated in the killings of innocent people, as well as bribery, assault, drug dealing and associating with contract killers and underworld bosses.

The lefties won when he was dismissed from the force in 1986 on what anyone with common sense would say were trumped up allegations of very close ties with organised crime.

He was then convicted of perverting the course of justice and lying to the Police Integrity Commission because he refused to rat on the other brave men in the NSW Police force who were simply trying to do the job they were asked to do in the fog of a Sydney's lucrative heroin boom.

But still, the lefties wouldn't leave him alone. As an elderly veteran of the NSW police force, he was then arrested and jailed for the murder of a 20-year-old university student in 2015.

Thankfully, on behalf of the right, a number of common sense defenders on the internet are making as much noise as possible by shouting at phone cameras and into podcast microphones to sell as much AI slop merch as possible this time around, in an effort to fight back on behalf of BRS.

Through skirmishes on the internet, many on the Stand With BRS side are continuing to push the ideal that strong Australian men in uniform are unable to commit crimes, and if they do then they should be immune from a trial by law.

With a lengthy legal trial ahead, it remains to be seen how far the left wing media will go to report on alleged facts of some of the 21 SAS soldiers who came forward in the defamation trial of BRS - in a fashion arguably similar to the cops who spoke out about Rogerson.

More to come.
