The owner of an extremely hostile cat has taken a moment to lay down her dating do’s and don’ts while confirming that being a cat person is an absolute non-negotiable.
Betoota Heights local Quinn Morris (26) adopted 8 year old tabby cat Gizmo 6 years ago, and the pair have been inseparable ever since.
However, as Quinn currently prepares to enter the dating world, this special bond is going to have to make room for one more.
“I’m not sure how Gizzy feels about it, but if they didn’t like him, it would be an immediate bye-bye,” she said, as Gizmo perched glumly at her side.
“Like it’s such a red flag if you don’t like cats, seriously.”
“Like look at this little guyyy, how can you not love that face,” she added, picking up Gizmo like a baby and squeezing him tightly.
Our reporter, who had tried to pat Gizmo upon arrival but was met with an arched back, fluffed fur, and an intimidating growl, watched on in shock.
“Bubby bub baby cutie pie my little cutieeeeeeee [unintelligible] Gizzy Wizzy cutie [unintelligble] ,” she nuzzled her face into Gizmo’s fur.
“He’s just the best, most sweet, gentle little thing ever.”
Bravely deciding to give it another go with Gizmo, our reporter reached out her hand to pat the top of his head.
Gizmo hissed rather aggressively, baring a sharp set of fangs. Quinn seemed to take no notice, and kept on rocking him back and forth.
More to come.
