A local Aussie battler has today taken some time out of his busy schedule to give us the run down on last night's budget.

Grahame Henry (62) a semi-retired plumber from Betoota Heights explained to The Advocate that he doesn't even recognise this country anymore.

Not as in he can't believe we've become a nation of the property owners and the renters, but that he can't believe what the 'Communist' Jim Chalmers did in the halls of parliament last night.

Parroting the front page of the News Corp owned Daily Telegraph (which may or may not own the largest real estate platform in the country), Grahame says its like the government wants to see this country go to the dogs.

The bloke who bought his first place for $13,000 in 1981 and has since watched his humble beach shack holiday house and neighbours place that he bought for his mum turn into a 15 million dollar property portfolio courtesy of Australia's great property ponzi scheme - says it seems like the fair go is dead in this country.

"Honestly this Jimflation bloke needs to be arrested."

"I feel like a sick little lab right in his messed up experiment to try and turn our amazing country into a communist gulag."

"It's just disgraceful," continued Grahame who owns a $150,000 caravan, a super account with $1.7 million in it, 4 houses and only still works because he does his wife's fucking head in if he loiters around the place.

When pressed on the fact the changes are grandfathered, and won't come in for another year, Grahame laughed.

"Yeah good luck to the next generation."

"Trying to get ahead is impossible now."

More to come.
