A radical, covert plan is being hatched inside the halls of artificial intelligence buildings this week.
With a distinct lack of a cohesive global plan to tackle the completely unregulated artificial intelligence industry, a couple of altruistic and noble computer scientists have decided to try and save humanity from itself.
Speaking under the condition of anonymity for obvious reasons, the group of 7 scientists from across the major companies, have confirmed that they've hatched a plan to try and retrospectively re-write history.
A spokesperson for the group explained they are readying themselves to send the first ever robot back in time, to prevent this cabal of narcissistic nerds from becoming radicalised into creating an sentient artificial monster that will destroy the human race.
"We think that if we can just send a terminator back in time to deal with the bullies who turned these nerds into tech bros who want to finally become cool and rule the planet, we can change the course of humanity for the better," said the spokesperson.
"We are planning to send a T-800 back to multiple different schools in the past to deal with all those jocks who radicalised people like Elon Musk, Sam Altman, Peter Thiel and Greg Brockman."
T-800, is also known as a Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 or The Terminator, and was made famous in a couple of late 20th century documentaries.
"If we can stop these nerds from getting picked on, we are hoping that their desire to treat people like their little computer game characters might not eventuate."
"And they can just provide capital to help people make cool tech, instead of trying to infiltrate the halls of power and use politicians as their own little pawns."
