Emily Adams (31) has spent the better half of today glued to her phone after the other girls in her group chat labelled Justin Bieber’s Coachella performance ‘lazy’.
During the set, Justin set up his laptop with a live chat where fans could request songs.
“Name literally one artist that’s done that before,” said Emily.
“He’s so innovative. Like it actually made it so intimate. I feel like I was there,” she added, having tuned in to watch the YouTube livestream from the comfort of her living room in Betoota Heights.
Her friends, however, feel as if Bieber did the bare minimum, especially considering the show ends his four year hiatus.
"He only played 'Baby' for less than a minute, like WTF is that? I got all excited for nothing," wrote Maddy into the chat.
Emily, however, is adamant they just don’t ‘get the vision’.
“I don't know what they're expecting. It’s not like he’s Chappell Roan or Sabrina Carpenter. He’s never done big shows,”
Whether or not Wednesday drinks will still go ahead following this blow-up is yet to be confirmed.
More to come.
