In entertainment news, a man who used to smoke three bongs a day is demanding answers this week after clocking a serious case of cultural injustice.

This story comes as The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald newspapers ignited debate with the release of a list titled, ‘Top 50 Australian films Of All Time’.

Topped by Warwick Thornton’s ‘Samson & Delilah’, the list includes several groundbreaking pieces of Aussie cinema including Baz Luhrmann's 'Strictly Ballroom’ (6), cult classic The Castle (22) and the film every high school science teacher used to put on when it was raining, The Dish (34).

However, according to 46 year old boilermaker Glenn Lismore, the list is a display of snob journalism from a bunch of university educated scarf wearers who use the word ‘auteur’ in their online dating profiles.

“It’s an outrage, how can you miss “The Fat Pizza Movie”, Glenn complained as he bubbled up a gatorade saxophone and shoved three warm chicken tenders from Woolies into a length of last night's garlic bread.

“Davo delivering a pizza to Angry Anderson’s bikie den, that’s classic cinema that is. Also it’s got Rebel Wilson’s first start in a film, before she got all Hollywood famous…”

Whilst scrolling through the list of top Aussie films on his phone, Glenn has been quick to point out other big misses scattered throughout the list.

“How can they include ‘The Piano’? That’s a Kiwi film with a Kiwi director filmed in New Zealand??”

“Also there’s no ‘Kenny’? No ‘Footy Legends’, and if there’s a top 100 shortlist and they didn’t include the Best of the Footy Show, then these clowns don’t know what they’re talking about…”
