Forget The Wharfies! Sydney Swans To Unleash 'Real Estate Agent Time' On Freo At SCG Tonight

All eyes in the leg tennis community will be on the SCG tonight, as the Sydney Swans take on Freo in a battle for tickets to the big dance.

With the minor premiers Fremantle aiming to book their first Grand Final appearance since 2013, the men of purple are looking particularly strong after defeating Geelong thanks to their new mid-game pump up moment, “Wharfie Time”.

However in big news out of Moore Park, the Sydney Swans are expected to unleash their own cute little marketing moment, with plans to activate “It’s Real Estate Agent Time” at some point in the game.

The Advocate understands that at some moment in the match, the Swannies will roll out Sydney’s top performing BresicWhitney agent, who will take an auctioneer's hammer, press it into his hands and activate all the screens around the SCG with the latest housing market data.

“It’s going to be a real spectacle, we’re so pumped!” says Sydney Swans marketing manager Lloyd Hamling-Roberts.

“Freo love to lean into their blue collar club history, so we’re gonna shove it back in their face and just own how we’re a club rebuilt on Eastern Suburbs snobbery, with fans who love nothing more than spending their morning paying $26 for a poached egg whilst reading Domain.com.”

Asked if the club is expecting a packed out crowd, Lloyd says ticket sales have experienced a late resurgence.

“We’ve got clear airspace tonight, no Wallabies, Waratahs or Roosters games to worry about. We’re hoping to get heaps of “Bloods” fans into the game, and we’re even offering free RM Williams boot polishing at half time, that’ll lure most of Paddington in.”
