FFS: Housemate Sat In On One Episode And Now Thinks You’re Watching The Series ‘Together’

Sometime last week, 24 year old Georgia Anderson began watching the popular American TV series ‘Suits’. 

With 9 seasons ahead of her, Georgia couldn’t believe her luck. After days of searching, she’d somehow finally found a background-watching show she hadn't already seen. Plus, she had it all to herself.  

That was until last night, when her housemate Mya wandered into the loungeroom moments after Georgia had flicked on episode 6 of the first season. 

“Omg, Meghan?!” Mya said, “What is this, I’ve never seen it before?”

“It’s Suits,” Georgia said, patting the spot beside her for Mya to sit down. 

The girls then fell into a 45 minute silence for the duration of the episode. 

“Omg that was actually really good,” Mya said once it was finished. 

“You can’t watch another until the next time I’m home, OK.”   

Naively, Georgia agreed. 

“Alright. Are you home tomorrow night?” she said. 

“No tomorrow nights no good. I’m working. And then I’m working Tuesday night too. And then on Wednesday I’m probably gonna stay at Josh’s, and then working again on Thursday. And then on Friday I’m going out, so I won’t be home then either,”

“Omg actually let me text Josh and ask if he’s seen it, I think he’s staying over on Saturday night so maybe he can watch with us, OMG this can be a new show for all three of us, like we only watch it on the nights he comes and stays over.”

Unsure how she had let new favourite series become suddenly monopolised by her housemate’s relationship, Georgia cut her losses and meekly agreed. 

“Sure,” she said. 

It’s now reported the young woman has entered her third rewatch of The Office to bide time.
