Extrovert Mate Refers To Halloween As ‘Halloweekend’ To Let You Know He’ll Be Making Multiple Appearances

An absolute hero from Betoota’s French Quarter has today taken a moment to let his mates know he’s got a bit going on for Halloween this weekend. 

The last time Halloween fell on a Saturday was 6 years ago, right in the middle of a global pandemic, and it won’t happen again until 2037, making this weekend a pretty special one. 

As such, groups across the globe have been scrambling for some weekend plans - with some lucky ducks even having events spread across the Friday and Saturday. 

One of these people is Ben Hargreaves (27), who is taking every second he can to remind everyone he’s got more than one party to attend this weekend. 

“Duddeeee,” he said, putting his hands behind his head. 

“I better not be hungover for Saturday. That would actually suck. I for sure need to pace myself, ha ha.”

Taking the bait, his mates Jai and Bella asked why exactly that would end up being the case. 

“Halloweekend, guys. Duh.”

Though both mates noted Ben’s deliberate use of ‘Halloweekend’ rather than ‘Halloween’, they didn’t need to press any further before he was giving them the entire lowdown. 

“Friday I’ve got this guy that I played volleyball with’s party, Louis. And then after that I’m gonna check out this event my mate sent me.”

“Then on Saturday, fuck Saturday’s a largeee one. I think I’m gonna start at like 2pm. At Phoebe’s. Then go to Rose’s. Then I’ve got Dawso’s. Then I think we’ll go clubbing maybe.”

“It’s Halloweekend guys like come on it’s the biggest weekend of the year.”

Bella and Jai thought to remind Ben they’re pushing 30, and aren’t American, but eventually decided against it.
