Australia has been rocked by completely unanticipated news overnight.
It is being alleged that Australia's most popular reality TV show, Married At First Sight, is actually not much fun for the contestants - and in many cases, a deeply troubling experience.
This comes after serious criminal allegations have been levelled towards several male contestant in the British version of the show, both who stands accused of sexually assaulting their fellow contestants.
But in Australia, it seems the actual producers might be the ones crossing the lines.
A recent ABC media investigation has found that maybe these cashed up bogans aren't as horny and dramatic as the program producers make them out to be - with contestants being heavily persuaded by TV producers to give the audiences a bit of excitement.
Both former contestants and former producers say that maybe a TV camera crew don't have the skills required to navigate the very real personal anguish that is being experienced by the on-screen talent when they are affectively being forced into an arranged marriage on live television.
When asked for comment, the wildly popular programme's producers said that these bogans are taking part voluntarily.
