The figureheads of the British monarchy have this week landed in the home of the brave and the land of the free for a landmark visit.

King Charles and Queen Camilla have met Donald and Melania Trump on their US state visit, which was arranged to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the US’s independence.

The visit comes after the shooting at the White House over the weekend, where a man with guns and knives managed make it into the correspondents dinner despite the raft of security all around.

The visit has also created one of the all time nightmare blunt rotation photos, with the Kings and Queens of America linking up to talk about anything other that that deceased financial guy that both families know quite well.

"Yeah fuck that," laughed the local Cannabis Party candidate for Maranoa, Bill Billson.

"I'm defs not gonna argue with it being a nightmare blunt rotation," continued the man who collected a whopping 0.4% of the vote in our regional Queensland electorate.

"I think you could be surprised though."
