The Leader of the Liberal Party has today received some much needed PR advice from a man who has seen it all.
As the media continue to not ask questions about Peter Dutton’s share trading, 300 million net worth and private function’s at Justin Hemmes’ mansion as Cyclone Alfred prepares to make landfall on his electorate – a former leader has offered some sage advice.
Scotty from Marketing has popped back up to inform Dutton that he needs to get on the front foot.
“Mate, that was probably one of the biggest things I learnt,” said Scotty, in a candid phone call with the Opposition Leader this morning.
“You gotta be seen to be proactive on this stuff ya know.”
“Like you can’t wait for these disasters to unfold and then be seen to be doing nothing.”
“So before this Hemmes stuff gets any momentum while stupid little greenies like Max Chandler-Mather are filling up sandbags a few k’s down from your place, I reckon you should release something.”
That something, according to Scotty, is a sweet photoshoot with the Australian Cricket team.
“The boys just got bounced out of the Champions Trophy, and you could get them into any one of your swathes of properties along the Eastern Seaboard for a bit of PR.”
“Just make sure Captain Woke doesn’t get chirpy alright.”
Dutton has yet to confirm what his play on it will be, with allegations he might be bringing flatbread from Tottis back home to Dickson.
